AUSTRALIAN TRANSPORT FUEL SURCHARGES CONTINUE TO RISE
Further to our recent communication regarding domestic fuel volatility, we are now seeing the impact flow through more broadly across the Australian transport sector, including Australia Port, Courier, LCL and FCL transport providers.
Transport providers continue to updated fuel surcharges, with current increases averaging 50-60% above fuel prices from February and early March. Fuel surcharges and generally ranging between 35% – 45% accross differemt states and cities, effective immediately and subject to ongoing review.
What this means
-
Updated fuel surcharges are now being applied across most transport providers
-
TCF will continue to pass through these increases at cost
-
Further adjustments (up or down) may occur at short notice as the situation evolves
While we remain hopeful that conditions will stabilise, the market continues to be highly reactive, and changes may be frequent.
We will continue to monitor developments closely and keep you informed of any further updates.
We appreciate your continued understanding and support.
