BMSB (BROWN MARMORATED STINK BUG) SEASON - OFFICIALLY ENDED

We would like to advise that the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) risk season for imports into Australia has now concluded.

As a result, mandatory BMSB treatment and seasonal measures applied by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) for applicable cargo and target risk countries are no longer required for shipments shipped on or after 1 May 2026.

We thank all clients, suppliers and partners for their cooperation throughout the season and remind all parties that standard biosecurity requirements and inspections may still apply depending on the commodity and origin.
