GENERAL RATE INCREASE (GRI) - USA & CANADA TO AUSTRALIA / NEW ZEALAND

Please be advised that all of the Ocean Carriers operating the United States & Canada southbound services to Australia & New Zealand have announced a General Rate Increase (GRI), effective from 1st February 2016. (see attached example of notification)

The GRI being applied differs for sailings off the West and East Coast, with LCL increases being applied along the same structure.

According to the notifications received, the increase will be as below:

Effective - 1st February 2016

USA EAST COAST & GULF PORT SAILINGS  :-

LCL - USD 4.00 per cbm/1000kgs

20' Container - USD 100.00

40' container - USD 200.00

USA WEST COAST PORT SAILINGS  :-

LCL - USD 7.00 per cbm/1000kgs

20' Container - USD 175.00

40' Container - USD 300.00

As we have done previously, TCF and our overseas partners will be monitoring the market situation closely and continuing our efforts to mitigate the GRI level as much as possible.
